About Us

The club was established in 1982 by co-founders David Bond and Mike Robinson whose vision was to develop all athletes to their full potential in fitness and skill.

In the 1980’s and 1990’s the club had a number of provincial and national athletes including Jill Purola, Nancy Hostetler, Jeremy Brown, Bryce Coad, Steve Kocsis, and most famously, Catherine Bond Mills. Catherine competed for Canada in a number of international events including the 1992 Barcelona and 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympic Games.

WLAC-Black-LogoIn the 2000’s a new generation of athletes emerged to represent Canada, including former World Youth and World Junior national team members Branden Wilhelm and Karleigh Parker.
