PROGRAMS

All WLAC Participants are required to complete this waiver and the online registration with Athletics Ontario

FULL YEAR - $800

Training is offered year round from January through to December. The full year program includes all competitive and non-competitive programs. Individuals that are interested in excelling in track & field, improving their skills and increasing their fitness are encouraged to join this program.  Training is offered 3 days per week, plus track & field meets (some meets are an additional cost). Registration will include a WLAC jacket or hoodie, t-shirt and singlet.

JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM - $300

This program is for 7 - 12 years old that want to learn and try different track and field events. This program will also give children that want to specialize in certain events, that opportunity.

 

This program will run for 12 weeks, beginning April 4, 2023. Training will be Tuesday and Thursday from 6-8pm at College Avenue Secondary School.

YOUTH PROGRAM TRAINING - Session completed

This program is strongly recommended for athletes, aged 8-11 who are interested in learning about track and field. Athletes train once a week on Sundays at Cowan Sportsplex from 2:30 to 4:00 pm. Program runs unril March Break.

SUMMER COMPETITIVE PROGRAM - $550

New this year is a longer summer program for competitive athletes (new athletes are welcome). 

This program will run from March 27 - August 31, 2023. Practices will be on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 6-8pm at College Avenue Secondary School.

SUMMER CAMP  - Full Day ($200) Half Day ($130)

Summer camp is offered for kids from age 6 to 13. Our inclusive environment strives to teach children the fundamentals of track & field.  Full day camp runs from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm and includes a WLAC t-shirt. Half-day camp is offered from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (WLAC t-shirt can be purchased). Packed lunch is from noon to 12:45 pm and pizza is provided on Fridays by the WLAC!
